12:42 pm wowza. i havent updated in over a month. a bunch of things happened. the homecoming dance was on the 7th, which was a drag. buut, katherine and daniel, who went together and are dating, came to my house and we watched mean girls after about an hour of being at the dance. i became really good friends with katherine, and we had a sleepover last weekend because we had monday off. we had a lot of fun, and our night consisted of chatting with franiel on the phone and fiddling with his myspace. im so excited that ive found another good friend, kitkat's such a sweetie. i went to a couple games, where i basically just hang out with danny with kathy missa and ec. ive had my eye on this adorable junior who I will never have a chance with because just about every other girl in school likes him too. its such a shame because he's about the only fella ive had my eye on
Im still knitting my Weasley sweater, it was going a little bit slow because i needed a bit of help on it. well i got that help and now im knitting like speedy gonzalas
this weekend was rather uneventful. actually quite uneventful. i babysat last night until 1245, and i didnt do anything friday or during the day on saturday. i think today im going to youth group with kathy and doing homework all today

09:06 pm - EJO! so i would say my first week as a highschool girl could have been a whole lot worse. actually, it was SUPER. the first couple days, i was scared i was going to get lost, but it was okey doke! thursday and friday were TUBULAR! including science being SUPER! zzeeen missa came home with me, and we hung out and junk until around 545, when we ate dinner and headed over to godwin for the FROSH SOC. which was a dud. but whateveeer. while missa and i walked to the field for the game, we saw joe and TYNESHIA, she's going to thomas jefferson, but what a sweetie. AH THEN THE GAME. that was such a good time. i met katherine and caitlin, cause missa knows katherine from volleyball, and she worked at the snackbar, and caitlin is katherine's best friend. golly, then we saw this cute 8th grader chris, an adorable boy who bears a resemblance to dan from this providence who missa and i called 'mr. green' seeing as he wore a green shirt. he was simply gorgeous. and a couple other cuties. buut you know. i spent a lot of time just bouncing around with different crowds, mainly missa, katherine, ctay, cline, and joe and daniel when they finished their VERY entertaining band performance. godwin ended up winning 21-0 over monacan. then missa came over afterwards, and it was rather fun!
then missa left around 200 today, and my mom brother and i went looking for cars from about 330 to 630, which was a little boring, but we saw some cars we liked. then i went to the melnick's for mr. melnick's birthday get-together, which was fun! i havent talked to kathleen in ages.
and now i'm watching the parent trap, which is TUBULAR! i remember the first time i watched it, with kathleen, we decided to try oreos and peanut butter, which is now possibly my favorite snack EVER. WHOOOO, DISNEY CHANNEL!
PS-katherine, missa and i are joe's fan club! even though he was being rather mean to missa last night, whaatev.

12:17 pm - in every circle of friends there's a WHOORE. last night may have been on of the best nights of le summer. beeesides le concert. but still. it was just a bunch of yelling "shoez" and "oh" and "TUBULAR!!" and people calling other people, which was mainly me calling missa to be annoying, and jay and i being uber obnoxious, what we do best. and! i became $1 richer seeing as daniel went in the pool and asked me to hold his four dollars, which i gave 1 to missa, 1 to jackie, and one back to him. so i kept 1. hoorah!
the night before that, i had gone to the goodier's household seeing as our power was out. we went to see how to eat fried worms, which was actually pretty cute. zeeeeen we stayed up until 330 doing i can't even remember what. listening to cute? watching tv. ah well. i stayed at her house watching the vmas until it was time to go to ctayz.
and this morning, i've been listening to cute is what we aim for since about..1045. and i may go to the pool with my momma later, which i'm not very thrilled about.

02:14 pm - busy bee it's true, i have been quite a busy wasp. i pretty much hung out until thursday, when i went to emily gunther's birthday dinner, that was pretty fun! we went to kabutos, i got some tasty salmon and i met olivia, who is quite a doll
on friday i babysat for grayson, forty bucks richa! i then attended abby's fourteenth birthday party, we prank called a certain someone that i can't mention because she may read it. buut it was HILARIOUS. and jay, abby, and missa watched SHOEZ.
then saturday i hung ouut, missa came over around 7ish to spend the night, which was a blast. our night consisted of looking at videos and pictures of shaant, what a dreamboat. after we exhausted youtube, we ent upstairs and did girly things like painting nails, it was enjoyable
i just got hom from babysitting a neighbor, and i'm leaving in about 20 minutes to babysit grayson again until 7. needless to say i'll be exhausted tonight. Current Music: hip hop at IHOP-cute is what we aim for

06:03 pm friday was AMAZING. probably one of the best first concerts anyone could attend! i went with missa and joe. we got there around 4ish, wandered around, went to the macarthur center, then found our way to kelly's backstage, a place where if you eat there you get in early to the show. so of COURSE we went there, and got in 15 minutes early, but unfortunetely we had to wait an hour and 15 minutes. but when it finally started, first up was this providence, they were pretty good, but i hadn't heard much of their music. the lead singer is ADORABLE. i'm going to visit their myspace soon becasue he took pictures of the audience, claiming we were "the best looking audience ever" then was hit the lights. they were pretty rad too, one of the guitarists had a huge afro, it looked really cool! out of all of the bands, they were probably my least favorite, the lead singers voice didn't really match their music. THEN was CUTE IS WHAT WE AIM FOR. ohhhh my stars, shaant is one cutie patootie. i'm so angry though, because i was really exhausted by the time they came on, so i don't remember shaant as well as i do hit the lights and this providence, which i would give up memories of any day for shaant. i still recall it very well, however. i think they had the longest set because they realized they had a lot more time, so that was FANTASTIC. missa had my camera the whole night because she's so tall, so she took a bunch of pictures and videos. then there was a huge break between cute is what we aim for and paramore, so we went upstairs to actually sit down with mr. goodier. by this point, it was about 930 and i could fall asleep if i was given a pillow and roughly 10 minutes. then paramore came on, and they were pretty rad, i didn't know their music as well either, but still AWESOME. i tried calling jackie because that's who she really really wanted to see, but i guess she couldn't hear it. then we were standing right by the backstage curtain, and dan-lead singer- and phil-the bassist-(at different times) of this providence came out and we met them and got autographs and pictures. it was SHHHWEEET. all in all, it was a insanely neato event.
then yesterday missa and i hung around being groggy and sleepy, until i went to the pool with my mom and junk.
and today, i worked at the snackbar and watched dirty dancing, which was rather entertaining! Current Music: risque-cute is what we aim for

02:56 pm - lock the doors, jimmy. yesterday all the lees of richmond went to va beach to visit the ambroses again. the weather was prettier, and the waves were magnificent. grady and i had a grand time in the water, us fishes. then a couple little jellyfish floated up to us and my mom, and at first grady just scooped them up with his boogeyboard and put them on the shore. then grady and i went up to the house with his mom, where we saw chelsea and her friends, they're kinda creepy. haha oh my stars. zzen when we went back down to the beach, i read for a couple minutes. then grady and i found like a zillion jellyfish on the shore, which we buried so people wouldn't step on them. after that we decided to go back in the water, even though i was very hesitant because those waters were infested with jellies. which i was right about seeing as when we stepped in the water, i trod on a jellyfish. grady my mom and i stayed in the water i think a grand total of 2 minutes. then we poked fun at grady's little brother at dinner, because earlier that day, riley's swim shirt had been riding up, and grady said "riley your beer gut is showing" but riley thought he said butt, so i said "perhaps his beer butt!" so every one was saying that and it was really a big laugh. and then we went to the meditation center, which was closed. so then we just headed home and watched the simpson's and american dad; then my family left and i was exhausted.
tonight i'm spending the night at missa's! hoo-rah. i'm taking my knitting so i can get some of my sweater done. it's really coming a long. WEE; mizzzza's muh best.
i'm estatic about the concert on friday! i believe joe is coming with missa and i. we're being such females, we haven't a clue what to wear, and we're freaking out about it.

12:28 pm - protect ze sand! yesterday was oodles of fun! my family and i took a trip down to va beach, and we visited the ambroses at their beach house. at first it was uber rainy, so we were a little dissapointed; but then about 20 minutes after we got there, it cleared up and every one went down to the beach. it was a perfect day in the water. grady and i floated around on our boogie boards, and i slapped muddy sand on his head multiple times. after that, we decided to make a "sand city" which involved us putting piles of mud on the back of the boogie board in the water, and trying to save the houses from the waves. AHAH and then riley his little brother told him that his nickname was "jigglyballs" because grady was calling riley and his friend cameron joanie and chachi. preceeding that, we sat down and ate turtle chex mix and played card games. then riley, cameron, grady and i went up to the house and watched some tv and played a couple video games. well, actually they played starwars and i played ms. pacman.
later that night, because it was my dad's birthday, we went out to the dockside in; excellent caesar salad! yummo.
today i have absolutely no plans, but it's jaybird's birthday! so i'll probably go get her a gift a little later. cheeers!

06:41 pm - NO HIGHPANTS! today i:
watched jill until about 12. we went to ben franklin, where i got a bit of help on my sweater, another pattern for mittens, a pair of needles, and a stitch holder. jill, on the other hand, simply "scoped out" the yarn and supplies, because she was broke and that's what her mother instructed her to do.
then, i went up to the library for about an hour and helped shelve books. i'm helping again next week; it's rather dull but hey, it gets me some community service hours.
ZEEENNNN i went to shortpump with my dear jaybird! i missed that gal pal an INSAAANE amount. she gave me my vair vair late birthday present: a creamish coloured bambi t-shirt! that doll. i didn't buy much, just some waffle fries and milkshake from chickfila-delish-, and some green items at the body shop for christine's birthday. we made this whole plan to try to look where highpants would be-to no prevail. highpants wasn't out looking for flood pants today
i think later i'm going to work out to a lame 80s tape, the people are like saying instructions almost seductively, it makes me giggle whilst i'm exercising. my legs ache from it, so hopefully it's working Current Music: coin-operated boy-dresden dolls

08:34 pm the past couple days have been rather enjoyable. on saturday i went to emily gunther's pool and we hung out for a while. then we were having an insane craving for arby's, so after badgering her mother for about 20 minutes, we left the pool and got drive through at arby's where i received some curly fries and a jamocha shake. mmm. then we went back to emily's and hung out, watching wildin' out, and went on funnypart.com. oh my goodness, before and after every funnypart movie, there was this seriously mentally challenged sounding laugh, which ended up making me laugh more than i did at the movies. then my madre came and got me around 530-6, and i just hung out at home.
then yesterday, my stomach was hurting like no other, so i didn't go to church even though i was supposed to help out at the nursery. around 130 i was feeling better and my mom, dad, and i went up to the pool for a while because chris was working at the snackbar, and then i was working there at 430. then at 430 i went to work, which was incredibly boring, but then kathleen came up for short periods of times which made it a bit better. then missa called and reminded me(unintentionally) of the tax-free-open-late mall sales, so my mom and i headed up to regency, where i got a pair of khakis from aero, two pairs of leggings, a pair of jean capris, and a brown skirt. i love muh momma
today i "babysat" for my across the street neighbor jill, and we played oodles of games online and my mom took us to ben franklin and unraveled for knitting supplies, where jill bought some plush and i found a mitten pattern! i hope to make a pair for kahtleen for christmas/her birthday. thhheeeen we went back to jill's house and watched ellen and then played more games on the computer while i knitted and finished the back of my sweater! zzen i came back home and did some exercise tapes, my thighs hurt bunches.
cheers!

05:12 pm ello there lahves. i've started writing an entry about 20 times but got sidetracked or called away, so here i am. i don't really remember what happened in detail the past week or so. i had a sleepover with missa, where we went to regency and i bought a pair of bermuda shorts at f21 and a pair of brown small wedges at payless. then today my mom brother and myself went to walmart target kohls dicks saxons and hechts for some tax-free shopping. i was so exhausted seeing as we had to get up at 7. i didn't buy much, two pairs of sweats, concealer, blot paper, mascara, and a couple bras. oh and a hamper, helmet and leggings. my feet are about to fall of from being so tired.
in the near future, i hope to go to christine's birthday party on the 12th, it should be super fun and groovy. and then on the 18th, i am extremely excited because i think i'm going to the cute is what we aim for concert with missa, that is if she makes the volleyball. i really hope she does, seeing as i've never attended a concert.
currently, im watching gilmore girls. i love this show, it's so silly. i've been watching it a bunch lately, i love the different intertwined stoies. it's no fair, alexis bledel is such a lovely actress, and i love her character rory.

10:03 pm - exhaustion. this has been such an exhausting week. golly day. it doesn't seem believeable, but vacation bible school is totally tiring. that also could be because i either worked at the snackbar or babysitting every single night of the week, then had to get up at 730 the next morning. aaand i have to go get my daddy and brotha tonight, at 11:15 at the airport.
today i went to my cousin's field hockey tournament with my mom, we left after a couple games, it was as hot as blazes; but then my aunt called and told us that their team won the whole tournament! so that's pretty rad! then because we were literally one cary street, i called missa to see if she wanted to come shopping with my mom and i, but her mom didn't want to bring her, so my mom and i went into fantastic thrift, which was a dissapointment. there weren't even dressing rooms! but at least missa didn't really miss anything. hopefully we're going to regency/sp tomorrow then im spending the night at her house! 02:51 pm - lunchboxes! i am on a quest to find a vintage metal lunchbox. ahh they're magnificent. ebay has been my only place to find any, but i'm hoping to hit carytown or thrift shops with missa sometime in the next 2ish weeks, that should be a blast, and maybe i can find a lunchbox!
yesterday was totally exhausting. although i really didn't do many tiring things, mentally i was falling asleep in my shoes. i again went to vbs, which was fun, that rachel gally sure is a handful. it took haley and i both just to get her remotely calm. actually it was mainly me, haley helped with the other tykes. that's probably what exhausted me, keeping that girl in line, goodness gracious. then i worked at the snackbar from 130-5, where i seriously considered falling asleep, but, obviously, was unable to. my momma picked me up from there, then we proceeded to go look for yarn for my weasley sweater im going to knit. i was unsuccessful, but we're still looking. i tried to go to bed early, but it was a bit hard
in the morning i went to vbs. no rachel! it was amazingly quiet and i was able to actually play with the other kids. as haley said, the kiddos just flock to me, even though that sounds a bit arrogant. but i noticed, it is pretty true! especially that william adair, whatta cutie. tonight i have to work at the snack bar again, from 430-8. hmmph. oh well, it's a way to earn big buckaroonies tootles! 06:55 pm today was an extremely boring day. actually from 9-12 it wasn't awful. i went to vacation bible school up at my church, i'm an assistant this week. haley's also helping tomorrow, which be fun and helpful. it was pretty fun, the kiddos are always so cute. there's the one gal that is such a handful. one of the kids mothers, in response to my mom asking how many kids are in the class said "seven plus rachel" rachel is so rambunctious it's ridiculous! there is another little boy william kept telling everyone that they ruined his school, whatever the heck that means
then my momma and i went to the pool, i invited missa but she didn't pick up her dang phone. i got a pretty nice tan, for me that is. my stomach hurts a bit, it hurt a bunch earlier, because all i consumed today was a bagel with creamcheese, a pita pocket with hummus and cheese, half a bag of skittles, nachos, and three strands of twizlers. and water. hopefully i'll be feeling well enough in a bit to eat some scrumptious vegetable pizza. my mom and i are alone whilst my padre and bradre are in colorado for scout camp, so we get to eat virtually whatever we want. hoorah! Current Music: dear jamie..sincerely me-hellogoodbye

06:00 pm - aay there. the past two days were pretty fun! i spent the night with missa last night at her house, so that was delightful. we basically were just stereotypical girls: talking until 2, drooling over celebrites, you know. we also decided that we were going to video tape us lip syncing to a cute is what we aim for song, or a fall out boy one, and put it on you tube to hope to be on vh1 someday. that would be the ultimate!
then today we headed up to sp for a couple hours. i bought a black shirt with stripes and a unicorn from delias which was already half off because missa bought one shirt, she had a $10 off thing, and i still had $14 on a gift certificate. it was lovely, missa only had to pay about $9. then i also bought a twenty-five dollar gift card for itunes. hooray for money, seeing as i still have about 60 bucks left.
tomorrow i start helping the older 3-4 year olds at vacation bible school at church. last year it was really fun, so i hope it will be again this year! :] last year haley helped all week, unfortunately this week, she can only help tuesday and wednesday. ah well! well, tata!

05:09 pm - new journal. so i'm a bit new to the livejournal thing. i've never had one, truth be told. mainly i've just stuck to xanga. but lately i've seen a couple people with ljs and decided-what the heck! i should make one of those contraptions. i'm such a dork.
so anyway. i guess you all should know a bit about me. i'm a gal, named lizzie. i just turned 14 on monday. my favorite band is the beatles, hands down. i love unicorns, dinosaurs, peace signs, tutus, harry potter, and macaroni and cheese. i'm a dinosaur, actually. the lizzosaur; hence my username.
well that should be suffice for now. Current Mood: cheerful Current Music: Meet Me Under the Mistletoe-Harry and the Potters
